spotted these on my drive the other day. driving through an area of grassy nothingness and suddenly, kapow! a patch of purple. had to flip it in reverse to take a closer look.

today is pretty 
So beautiful! They look like butterflies. After 4 weeks of intense rain in the East Bay we had purple and orange poppies rampant in once empty grassy fields.
