Ah! We have “Hug” at our house too, with little main character Bobo the baby gorilla. (Right? Or…orangutan? chimp? monkey? argh! can never keep them straight.) When my preschooler was a babe, that book inspired her daddy to nickname her (judiciously, of course) Bobo. VERY occasionally I still hear him call her that.
