Hi there. I don’t know how I found you site but I enjoy your photos very much. I live in Munich, Germany, and what puzzled me about this picture is, that since a few months (maby two or four, not longer) this way of cappucino-decoration (the leaf ornament) is very much “in”. Before we had the heart-ornaments (since about 2 years) and before there was just cappucino with no ornamental decoration at all for all the time since I can remember cappucino (sometime in the 80ties in Florence I realized there is more to the world than hot chocolate :-) … time to grow up.) Anyway I’m totally fascinated to see that the cappucino ornaments obviously are a worldwide style. Cute and irritating at the same time. :-)

kate, i find this comment hysterical. it is a funny thing. these trends. soon it will be in fashion to get a plain old foam-topped cappuccino again…
