ah, this is a perfect new orleans shot to end on. hot, sticky, sunny new orleans, just as summer begins to creep in here at home. with this season’s turn, i feel a change coming on.

This one looks like another country to me. It reminds me that there is much of America I still do not know.
I agree with Denise. There is a certain grittiness to this as well.
at first glance i thought this was another country too (like denise). i love new orleans though, it’s such a colorful place.
A great shot… and it makes me long to travel. It has been some time since I was in New Orleans, but my Dad is always there (in his mind and in his very bones. To him, it is home).
